KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani chaired the Human Forces’ High Council here at the presidential palace on Thursday Nov 16, 2017, a statement from the presidential press office said.
At the outset acting minister of education and deputy on general educations Mohammad Ibrahim Shenwari presented draft on duties and basic supports to the ministry. He briefed the session on quality educations services, process and ways of delivering quality educations, result of vocational trainings andduties of provincial education departments.
He also spoke related to development of human resources, constructions of schools, infrastructural information technology establishment, financial management, salaries, security and services, training for teachers, information system of the ministry, healthcare facilities to students, publishing of books and monitoring of the programs, asking the president to assign a technical team on evaluation of the presented draft.
Thanking acting ministers’ briefing, the president said ministry of education was needed reformation and the ministry’s programs to be discussed in upcoming Human Forces’ meetings.
The president said ministry of education’s priority should be on quality education, adding the country’s education system need revision and the civil society’s recommendations should be considered.
The president also emphasized on impartiality of the provincial education departments, asking the local organs not to interfere in education affairs.
At the end, the president said women’s opinion should be also taken into account in education affairs.
